It's difficult sometimes for our family to say how we feel with all your kind words..and special memories of Sharron, for those who knew her and for those who did not.
To those who send tips..and your thoughts..about persons of interest.
Thank you once again,

Although I didn't know Sharron, the day she went missing was a day I will always remember. In 1975 I was a 15 year old young girl who lived in Ville LaSalle. What happened to Sharron could have happenened to anyone of us. I was very naive until that day. Never thought twice about travelling on the bus, metro by myself or walking down certain streets alone at night. Yes, it was so very sad and is still sad to this day because no one has ever been convicted of this horrendous crime after all these years. My heart goes out to her family and to those who were close to Sharron. I like to think that Sharron's story though horrible, may have prevented something similar happening to another young girl. For myself, I was certainly more aware of my surroundings and took precautions when necessary. RIP Sharron...you have people who will always love and remember you and keep your memory alive.

This information might be important to you. there was a guy who lived in the point his first name was louis but I cannot remember his last name but do remember that it started with a P. This guy spent time in jail in Ontario for raping a women he is a bad dude. He fits the discription of the person who attacked the women on Ash Avenue he has a brother by the name of Joey. Maybe some one can come up with the last name.

I wonder if the police ever compared the dna from Sharron's case and the Tammy Leaky case to see if they match or not. Would be interesting to see. Both incidents happend in the Point.

Thank you to those of you who have written in Sharron's guest book, who have given your thoughts, your well wishes and prayers.
Every bit of information that we receive we take in..and search ..and look for answers?
Sometimes is the smallest things that can brake a case.
And this case is NOT closed, has never been.

Rumor went around the point in the 80's that the person who could be responsible for such a terrible crime was a guy who showed signs that he was very violet.I myself don't believe that I ever met this creep, and if I do, I certainly (thank god) don't remember him.I was told that he could be capable of doing such a horrible thing.I don't want to accuse anyone but how can I throw you out a name without blaming him. What if he didn't do it? The last name was Abraham.Unfortunatly, I heard that he died. If there was a way to get DNA from one of his family members. So sorry for your loss

Never said the Prior's gave up. That is horrible to say. The police have not done anything with this case in how long? Don't mix my words ever by saying the Prior's gave up.

I was so sorry to read of the loss os Sharron. I hope that justice is served one day soon for your family. I cannot understand what kind of person is driven to inflict such pain on others. Life is really just not fair sometimes.
My heart breaks that she was so young and did not get a chance to live her life, and for your loss and the loss of her potential contribution to society.
Best wishes and hugs to you all.

It is with sadness that I have learned of the murder of Sharron Prior at such a young age of 16.
To endure 32 years, one cannot comprehend the pain of knowing the Sharron's killer/s are still at large.
I am so sorry for your loss Yvonne of your beautiful young daughter Sharron.
My heart goes out to The Prior Family, Doreen and Moreen, for the loss of your sister.
sincerely Denise - mom to Charles.

The Prior family have endured so much. They have continued to keep Sharron's memory alive, and most importantly to find out who murdered this young beautiful girl.
I did not know Sharron I just came across her website accidently actually.
I was reading the Article that was from True Crime Blog; and the Profiler Gregg O. McCrary. I would think that The private detectives should go back to the original suspects from 1975 and question them once again.(my opinion)
I have also noticed that the Prior Family ask questions about names and faces that friends may be able to answer.I surly hope that they are getting some answers. I must agree someone knows something.

The scholarship is an extremely positive and constructive gesture to make the best of an obvious injustice.
