I recently had the pleasure of visiting Montreal and meeting the Prior family, Mrs Prior, Doreen, Moreen and Jo, for the first time. I have always admired your courage and tenacity in your endless pursuit of justice for Sharron, but meeting you face made that so much more real.
You should all be very proud of the way you have stuck with this. If one day you can have the closure you deserve, no-one will be happier than this man 10,000 miles away.
Warmest regards and love to yo.
Geoff

Hi... I just signed a petition to keep David Dobson in jail, and i found a signiture that stated that they too had a sister that was murdered and i thought ui would come see the site. I cant imagine what it feels like to lose someone in that way, i lost my dad when i was nine and my brother was 1 but it wasnt because some heartless killer wanted to take their life. I just wanted to say im sorry for your loss and i hope that whoever did this gets locked up for a lifetime! Im sorry u had to go though this and ill keep u inmy prayers!

To the Prior family,
I wanted to thank you for signing the petition, and to send you our families warmest and most heart felt sympathy. We know that your pain compares to nothing else in this world. Please stay strong, the new changes to Bill C-13 may still find this animal. I feel very proud to be one of the people who directly changed that bill. I feel very hopeful that we will find closure for so many families with the changes. Please hold on to hope.
Our hopes, prayers, and love
The Prioriello Family

Looking back over the years, I still remember those days. Sharon hung around with my brother Alfie Weippert who was best friends with John. I remember Sharon's Mom calling my house looking for Sharon who everyone thought had gone to John's hockey game and no one saw her. Every Saturday night my brother used to have a party at my parents after they had gone out ( I remember because I used to clean up after) Sharon and John always came, but on that night John played hockey and came later, JOhn asked where Sharon was and no one knew. I know that this will always remain a memory to me. My heart goes out to her family, she will always be remembered for her kind heart and loving character. SHe was loved by all who knew her.

I just heard this story on the radio today. It has been 31 years but probably to you, it still seems so fresh. She was a beautiful, happy looking typical teen. I had just given birth to my second son that year; he is 31 now. I can only offer my mother's sorrow and do not know how you have been able to get through this. Let's hope that the sick scum who did this atrocious act is caught. Perhaps that will put some closure on this in a way. My thoughts and love are with the whole family. I am so very sorry that this had to happen. She will forever be young.

I JUST WAS LISTENING TO THE RADIO SHOW, AND MY HEART WENT OUT TO MRS. PRIOR AND THE WHOLE PRIOR FAMILY.
I WENT TO VERDUN HIGH SCHOOL ( MANY YEARS AGO ) WITH A GIRL WITH THE LAST NAME PRIOR.
I DO NOT THINK IT WAS SHARRON, BECAUSE I AM GOING TO BE 62 TOMORROW, AND I GRADUATED IN 1961.
I AM GOING TO PRAY THAT GOD WILL LEAD THE POLICE TO THE MURDERER, AND HAVE THIS HORRIBLE PERSON PUT AWAY.
I FEEL FOR YOU ALL, AND WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU.

I went to Verdun High when Sharron went missing. It affected me deeply, even though I was two grades behind Sharron. I knew Doreen and Maureen and have often thought of their loss, tormet and pain. I saw the impact this horror had on their lives and this tragedy has haunted me ever since. Later in my life, I had a close friend attacked, raped and nearly murdered - I could not help feeling the same way I did when Sharron was found.
I have always been hopeful the murderer would be caught and perhaps that one elusive clue will come to light one day soon.
Rest in peace Sharron. God watch over the Prior family and may you all find meaning and peace is this life. My thoughts are with you. Mark Milne.

I was 12 years old when Sharron went missing and it still feels like yesterday. I often think of the Prior family. George and I attended Riverside School together as children. At the time I lived at 528 Charon Street and Sharron called on the girl across the street ( we actually rang the bell in those days! No cell phone). I always thought she was so pretty and admired her suede jacket. I thought she was so Cool. I now live in Toronto, however the miles do not separate my memories, emotions or concerns for the Prior family. Sharron will always remain beautiful and I hope to one day meet with her in heaven.
