I used to live in Montreal but moved to Edmonton 11 years ago I have never met the family of Sharron but came across this article and would like to leave a little saying. I am truely sorry to the family of Sharron I know what it is like to lose some one so close to you, at such a young age. All I can honestly say is just keep the happy memories alive that you all had together and never let them go for those are the things that keep us alive inside when tragity stricks. By deppessed sympathy to all.And just remember Sharron wouldn't want tears but happiness. God Bless All

To my dearest friend Moreen. This is a beautiful sight to meet Sharron and learn of her life. She is in good hands now, where no one can harm her again. Talk about the PERFECT ANGEL!!! MO, as we both know, God is with you and your family. I pray for closure for you and your family. May she rest in peace. Mo, I love you and I am there for you.

I did not know Sharron or her family, but I have a younger sister who was about the same age as Sharron at the time; we grew up right next door in Verdun and my younger brother played football for Leo's Boys probably before Sharron was born. I remember feeling so angry that one human being could do such things to another. This is a beautiful site and I sincerely hope that one day the authorities are able to find the person who did this awful thing and bring some closure to her family.

There is such things that happen to most beloved ones that no human being can understand. There is NO human word or action that can ever heal such deep pain for close family and friends. There is no human justice that is fair enough. But only God's justice is fair enough, only God's Love can heal. Sharron was explaning the real meaning of Easter just before she lost her human life, but whatever terrible, awful, bad and disgusting unfair work ennemy did, he or they never really got her at last, for as she had understood and believed, and even testimonied; it is written FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON FOR WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE (John 3;16) and as Jesus was dying because human beings hurt Him and killed Him so unfairly, Him who came to save them, He prayed; Father, forgive them, because they don't know what they are doing? This site really testimonies of how much love Sharron sed on her path on this earth, how many living happy memories of her life remain forever in the hearts of all the ones she touched. Her life, even if it was way too short, really made a great difference for all the people who had the privilege to be close to her or even to know her. Father God, in Your Love, stronger than all evil, stronger than all pain, give to Sharron's loved ones the strenght that they need to keep walking by faith, revel them the answers that they need in their hearts so each one of them can accomplish what You have prepared for them in this life time until the day that they will reach You and find back Sharron for ever, Thank You God, in the Name of Jesus, Amen

I live in Edmonton now, but I lived right across the street from the Prior's, as a matter of fact I baby sat Sharron, the twins & Jo Jo. I was but a kid myself in my early teens. My husband now, John Hiscock, was friends of Sharrons uncle,The Mornoes. Sharron was always like a little sister to me as were her sisters & brother. Neither complained or missed behaved when I sat them.It was very devastating news. When Sharron dissapeared I felt like a part of died. I have always had you in my heart and hope someday that the person or persons who tortured you the way they did will get worse than what they did to you. You did not deserve to be treated in this manner. always remembered from linda hiscock

On behalf of our family, especially Debbie, one of Sharron's friends, this site is so professionally done and brings back such cherished memories of Sharron. It is now 2006 and we hope that justice and closure can finally help the Prior family have peace. Sharron was such a special person who touched so many hearts in a positive way and has been in our thoughts for many years. The ones we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day!!!

My name is Roger Agnessi, I was born and raised in the piont, and I brought up my two daughters in the point, and I am still living in the point. I was a policeman for 31 years and everytime I made an arrest I would bring up the subject of sharon's death. Some information was good, but every day that the good lord brought I always had sharon in my toughts. She was one of us and no one can do this to us. Even today after being retited for 20 months I still ask questions and think of sharon. Somebody out there in the point has knowledge on Sharon's untimely death, one day we will find out the truth. You the people who dis this will pay. To Sharon's family, people out here in the point still think of Sharon, one day her death will be avenged.

As a former Pointer, and in those days, having worked part time at the Boys and Girls Club (teen Centre), I have many times thought of those very sad days.
And yes, I remember Marina's restaurant well and the gathering place it was for teens at the time. As I recall it, and upon reflection,it has always seemed to me that it was during those few days that the innocense of childhood and growing up in the Point also left us. We began to lock our doors. I'm so glad it seems Sharron continues to be remembered and surely that is testament to the person she always was. I continue to hope someday the answers will come. |

Sharron remains in our hearts and minds. I was also 16 years old, at the time of her abduction. We were young and full of dreams. Her murder was difficult for all of us to understand. I'm proud that so many people have kept her memory alive. To all that put this site together and those wonderful/beautiful pictures........Thank you!
